Pediatric Surgery Conference

The #AnsabereSurgical team recently attended the 6th Iberian Congress of Pediatric Surgery, held from May 8 to 10, 2025.

This congress took place jointly with the 62nd SECP Congress (Spanish Society of Pediatric Surgery) and the 25th SPCP Congress (Portuguese Society of Pediatric Surgery).

At Ansabere, we were able to participate both in the commercial exhibition held from May 8 to 10 and in the theoretical-practical pre-congress Pectus course held on May 7.

During the Congress, #AnsabereSurgical had the pleasure of presenting the latest innovations:

• The Pectus Excavatum sternal elevator
• Pediatric oncological abdominal retractor
• Mechanical arm for laryngeal suspensión

First surgery in Catalonia with the Ansabere fascial traction system

In January, Dr. Rafael Villalobos Mori, Head of the Abdominal Wall Unit at Arnau de Vilanova University Hospital, performed the correction of a large 13 cm wall defect using the complex abdominal closure assistant developed by Ansabere in collaboration with Dr. Sergio Salido Fernández, specialist in abdominal wall surgery at La Paz University Hospital.

This reusable device allows surgeons to perform a more comfortable, controlled, and precise closure from any angle during the different stages required to correct these large defects
